Lorraine Everett

Artist Biography

Lorraine Everett is an artist based in Chestermere, Alberta. Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, she takes a personal approach to painting and focuses on developing her own voice rather than imitating the styles of other artists. Working primarily in nature and landscape, she admires Canadian, nature-centered artists such as the Group of Seven.

Everett’s love of art began when she attended a commercial arts university in Toronto, Ontario. After graduating from a four-year program, she joined a group of eight artists producing commercial art for General Motors.

While much of her work reflects the local Alberta landscape, she remains connected to her Ontario roots and enjoys observing the beauty found across Canada.

Everett is a member of the Chestermere Art Guild and paints regularly in her free time.
