I was born in Rivers, Manitoba into a military family. My father was absent numerous times and we were relocated to Germany for four years. We came back to Canada to settle in Oromocto, New Brunswick. During all the different houses I lived in I continued to paint and as my father was fond of developing our basements in these various houses into livable space, I created murals on the walls. When he retired we were settled in Calgary, Alberta.

I have through the years taken various art classes but have pretty much stayed with my love of realistic acrylic painting.

My husband and I moved to Chestermere 20 years ago and I retired from the Oil and Gas Industry after 30 years and decided to take my painting more seriously. I enjoy all kinds of subjects from landscapes, portraits to animals. I am now the Secretary of the CFAG and am enjoying the challenge.
