EVENING Art Sessions
Join us for our exciting evening art classes, held twice a month at the Chestermere Recreation Centre. These sessions take place on the first and third Monday of each month, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Led by our talented guild members, each class offers a unique opportunity to learn new art concepts and techniques. Whether you choose to follow along with the instructor or work on your own masterpiece, these classes are designed to inspire creativity. The sessions are held every first and third Monday of the month. The cost is $5 for non-members, while members enjoy free access. If you prefer to have supplies provided, the cost is $10 for non-members and $5 for members.
Art Supplies Checklist
For our evening art classes, we recommend bringing the following supplies to ensure you have everything you need to create your artwork. Acrylic painters should bring an 11×14 inch canvas, black, white, red, yellow, and blue acrylic paints. Watercolour painters are advised to bring any size watercolour paper (2 or 3 pieces) or a pad, along with black, red, yellow, and blue watercolour paints or an inexpensive watercolour paint set. Additionally, all participants should have three brushes (large, medium, and small), a rag or paper towels, a pencil, and an eraser.
These materials will help you make the most of your class experience, allowing you to explore different techniques and styles. Whether you’re painting with acrylics or watercolours, having the right tools is essential for bringing your artistic vision to life. Don’t forget to pack your creativity and enthusiasm!
